Abstract
Es siempre una buena noticia la publicación de un libro cuyo objetivo es detonar la investigación sobre una temática poco explorada dentro de la literatura. Tal es el caso del libro Me voy porque me voy. Historias de profesionistas mexicanos en Estados Unidos, escrito por Laura Vázquez Maggio y Lilia Domínguez Villalobos, ambas adscritas a la Facultad de Economía de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), publicado en 2023 y coeditado por la Facultad de Economía de dicha Universidad y la Editorial Turner. Como bien mencionan las autoras en el capítulo que sirve como motivación del libro, México ocupa a nivel global el sexto lugar en el número de migrantes calificados viviendo fuera del país, y en el caso de los migrantes viviendo en Estados Unidos de América, se trata del cuarto país de origen detrás de India, Filipinas y China...
