Behavioral medicine in Mexico: A brief historical and historiographical analysis

Abstract
The objective of the present study is to complement the contribution developed four years ago by Dr.Rodriguez (2010), part of the development of the Behavioral Medicine in our country and recentlydisappeared, through the analysis of its document published in this magazine concerning the development ofthe Behavioral Medicine in our country, is at the same time that incorporates historical methodology in orderto review the field of Behavioral Medicine in its scientific axis or knowledge generation and his academictraining of skilled shaft finally on its professional axis as the application of such knowledge to the solutionof health problems. The historical perspective is used to derive some of the demands in the future that may beaddressed to develop the Behavioral Medicine in our country.
