Individuality as a psychological problem: the study of personality

Abstract
According to the use of ordinary language, the term personality is examined as the consistent manner of behaving that identifies individuality. In contrast to the classical theory of personality, which formulates populational and morphological categories to classify individual differences, an alternative conception based in interactive styles to generic contingential situatios is proposed. From the definition of interactive styles as dispositional categories, the methodological criteria to assess individual biography, behavior mode, and within-individual behavioral consistencies in time, are analised
