Notes on the conceptual and methodological development of the experimental analysis of behavior

Abstract

Sorne of tHe basic notions on Skinner’s model are presented and ubicated within ihe development of the empiricai task directed to the achievement of general principies ant!, eventualiy, of a theor-y of behavior. The previous notions are discussed in reference to the multicausal approaches ant! titase suggesting unitary quantitative atad conceptual analyses. Afterwards, the necessity for struictural analyses in regard to the facts determining beitavior organization is suggested. Finally, sorne comments on the status of appiied behavior analysis are presented.
