Abstract

This paper reflects upon the way in which the workers of the Ruta-100 company built the notions of legality and justice in a particular context. This case is analyzed because the bankruptcy of the company, and the disappearance of the syndicate in 1995, animated by a political conflict, violated the juridical normativity in every way. The construction of these notions in the worker's symbolic world, did not respond to the juridical process that took place, but to the mediation of the labor relationship built between the syndicate and the company, and to the patrimonial relationships between leaders and workers. The analysis rest upon first hand sources, such as interviews and testimonies.
