Abstract

The religious issue in Hegel is an integral part of this thinking. Is the fundamental and most intense part of his metaphysical concerns. Religion in Hegel, like his philosophy, is the historic and cultural manifestation through which man sees himself in his own world.

According to Hegel, the religious concept, which is also an interpretation of human events, is closely tied to philosophy and is, therefore, a way by which man knows himself throughout history.

Religion, thus, becomes a cultural and historical factor that goes against the traditional rationalistic thought and its study becomes important.
