Resumen

SE DESCRIBE UNA ESPECIE NUEVA DEL GÉNERO PHYLLOPHAGA CON EJEMPLARES COLECTADOS EN BOSQUE DE GALERÍA Y PLANTACIONES TROPICALES DE LOS DEPARTAMENTOS FRANCISCO MORAZÁN Y PARAÍSO, HONDURAS, SITUADAS ENTRE LOS 700 Y 1400 M DE ALTITUD. SE ILUSTRAN LAS ESTRUCTURAS DIAGNÓSTICAS, SE LE COMPARA CON LAS ESPECIES AFINES DEL GRUPO "LATIPES", Y SE INCLUYE UNA CLAVE PARA SEPARAR LAS ESPECIES DEL SUBGÉNERO CHLAENOBIA CONOCIDAS EN ESA REGIÓN HONDUREÑA.
