SE DESCRIBEN UN GENERO Y UNA ESPECIE NUEVOS DE ACARO, OPSERYTHRAEUS HOFFMANNAE (ACARI: ERYTHRAEIDAE), CON BASE EN EL ESTADO LARVAL. LOS EJEMPLARES PROVIENEN DE MUSGO DE LA SELVA RUGEGE, A 2500 M DE ALTITUD EN RUANDA, ÁFRICA CENTRAL.
