Análisis del material lítico de Chakanbakan, tierras bajas del sur de Quintana Roo, México

Abstract

The object of this paper is to offer a general vision on lithic materials, particulary the rubed and chiped class, proceeding from  a site in the maya area. We established links between lithic instrumental craft made in situ with native resources, and the presence of finished instrumental with distinctive features concerning the chiping technique and the native prime resources. Thus, outside influence is confirmed, and the local development of a site in the Mexican low-lands.
