Cuando el diálogo se volvió monólogo: Monte Alban y/o el Valle de Oaxaca

Abstract

Through a look at the history of archaeological research in Oaxaca, this paper tries to illustrate how traditional paradigms and research methods have contributed to our present state of knowledge. On the other hand it points out how they have limited our knowledge, and what we can do to curtail the monologues within our interpretations.
