The present issue of the Journal os Social Work of the UNAM, dedicated to the issue of disabilities, is meant to be a source for consultation and an academic testimonial of this global social problem which involves our communities. In this modern day and age, more than ever before, people are conscious that their dobies should not be an obstacle to equality, justice and dignity.
