Abstract

This article displays an analysis of migration and remittances, both of them increased in the last decades, considering Mexico as one of the leading countries in reception of this kind of income. The author calls this action a neo colonialism new stage of subordination, one imposed by the United States on Mexico. This situation involves some consequences, such as: partial or definitive abandonment of local economies, lost of jobs and rural society; the desertion of potentially productive activities and also the disintegration of social fabric. Besides, this article proposes both to struggle to create a democratic State, and reverting the privative approach of national wealth; and also to solve the problems that cause the expulsion of millions of Mexicans to the United States.
