Pueblos originarios urbanos: ¿nuevos actores en el panorama multicultural de la Ciudad de México?

Abstract
It reflects on the meaning and importance of urban native peoples in the multicultural landscape of the city of Mexico. Is exposed as these peoples sui generis, with a long history in the basin of the Valley of Mexico, they maintain, reproduce and recreate cultural practices and symbolic universes, both root Mesoamerican as mestizo, which have been amalgamating to long them of its existence and are expressed in different ways of inhabiting the city; also explains the emergence in recent decades of these communities such as cultural, social and political actors who will make visible and claim their right to exist and be part of the metropolis. Finally, raised some questions and lines of the present discussion on this topic.
