Abstract
Education and politics are two human activities that are at the basis of social life. Not only can the cohesion of society but which become essential elements for transforming it. The teachings of the educator Paulo Freire have been essential to understand that education is a social and political process that aims to aspire to freedom and democracy. The article explores how the Zapatista movement has recovered this vision of education policy and making it part of their political praxis.
