Abstract

The present work is aimed at rethinking the Conquest along three axes: the communities involved, both the European and the Mesoamerican; how the language is enunciated also burdens this polar vision, and the role of alliances.

JESÚS ANTONIO GARCÍA OLIVERA, Colegio de Ciencias y Humanidades, Plantel Naucalpan

Licenciado en Historia por la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras (FF y L) de la UNAM; maestro en Docencia para la Educación Media Superior, campo del conocimiento Historia, por la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras y el Instituto de Investigaciones Filosóficas (IIF); tiene una especialidad en Historia del Arte por la FF y L y el Instituto de Investigaciones Estéticas (IIE). Es analista en el Archivo General de la Nación, galería 4; maestro del plantel Naucalpan del CCH desde julio de 1979; ha publicado en diversas revistas nacionales e internacionales.
