Abstract

The topic is the discrimination in the XVI century that occupies a central place in this study. It recovers some ideas from different authors to answer fundamental questions such as Is Mexico a Country where discrimination exists? The discrimination has served as a form of control, domination, abuse, and displacement of the indigenous world. The analysis has been divided into three parts: 1. Introduction. It is about the problem of investigation. 2. Development, it analyzes the discrimination in the sixteenth century. 3. Conclusions. They have the purpose of pointing out the results.

Cuauhtémoc Domínguez Nava, UNAM

Licenciado y maestro en Historia por la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras (FFYL) de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), doctorante en Economía por la Facultad de Economía de la UNAM. Fue becario por el CONACYT. Realizó tres estancias de investigación en el Departamento de Economía de la Universidad de Cantabria, en Santander, España. Es profesor de Historia de México e Historia Universal en la UNAM. Actualmente estudia el Doctorado en Educación.
