Abstract
In the purépecha community of Sevina (Michoacán) the Revolución hasbe come an event of ungrateful memory for its inhabitants. It is presentin stories, but also in community practices or popular beliefs, it appearsalso each November 20 in the form of parade. Then the event acquires national characteristics, although never leave the local modality. In thistext I will analyze the mechanisms through which the two visions of theevent, live on the interpretation that the sevinenses make of the past.
