Las frases del tiempo

Abstract

Whoever decides to use his time reading the following pages, will find a group of reflexions around ten expressions frequently used in common language. Phrases that due to their use in everyday life, summarize our relationship with time, with life, our own and the others life. Maxims and sayings similar to philosophical phrases revealing a sense to our daily routine active or contemplative– and apparently, pretended to be constructed for ever. The sense of these phrases is analyzed through the exercise of mechanisms, according to Jon Elster, and I try to classify them taking time images discovered by Ramón Ramos in social speech; time as a resource, as a setting and as a horizon.
