Abstract

Social Inclusion is one of the great challenges we have as a third millennium society. The construction of an Open Society - where full Democracy is lived - goes through respect for diversity and the firm commitment to work on these two concepts. It is the duty of each signatory State of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities to make this UN document born at the initiative of Mexico, a reality where we no longer talk about Barriers (social, economic, cultural, among others), if not from a diverse society that exercises its rights.
