The dynamics of eco-political conflict: Transnationals, governments and community movements

Abstract
This article presents a relational, integrative and dynamic theoretical framework of the so-called socio-environmental conflicts in scenarios involving large corporations, governments and community movements. We will argue the importance of focusing the analysis of such conflicts on asymmetric power relations and domination through the appropriation of nature, understanding its eco-political dimension. All this as a contribution to improve empirical research and our understanding of the dynamics of the conflict we call eco-political
