For Classical Fiscal-Economic Analysis of Crisis: A Development Strategy with Democracy

Abstract

Because of a lacking and an unproductive analysis of economics, this article intends to recover the classic perspective of distribution. It is an analytical alternative –while assessing the 1990-2008 official data (formal economy)– to undertake the current problems of the Mexican economy, centering our attention on the relationship of income distribution and fiscal resources. It is a strategic reference for development with a democratic perspective.
