Abstract

In a brief and systematic book, Jose Antonio Ocampo presents the consequences and adversity of what has been our poor and inadequate capacity to face the reigning neoliberalism over the past two decades. In practice, there was no "development" in Latin America because the "economic growth" support to achieve it, has been negligible. "Negligible" in relation to the two decades preceding the sad, frustrating story told in the book in question (1980-2005).
