Living reality and theorize Social Sciences

Abstract
What does it mean to theorize Social Sciences? According to Sergio Bagú, the capacity of theoretical development in Social Science is closely related to the world of ideas and the social spectrum. Thus, it's imperative to reconstruct periodically the tendency of what he calls the theoretical curve. Bagú begins with these premises to find out the theoretical models developed in Latin America beginning in 1945. Also, he analyzes how such world phenomena as the collapse of the socialist empire, new technology, the world powers reconfiguration, among other things, have affected our understanding of theory in Latin America and in the world.
