Abstract

The main objective of this work is to analyze the labor innovative techniques within the context of the labor movement of the car industry in Brazil during the 1990s. These innovations create new forms of control of Capital over labor, which also alters the dynamics of class analysis. First, this paper looks into the productive forces of Marxist economic theory. Later, it evaluates the Neo-Schumpeterian technological determinism. Finally, it analyzes new forms of control within Brazil’s industries of the 1990s.
