Abstract

This article discusses the relevance of the long cycles of capitalism to analyze the current situation, highlighting the systemic cycles and the cycles of Kondratiev. Once it is adopted the determinist focus, the author postulates that this long cycles are part of a struggle of classes and the reproduction is linked to the bourgeoisie accumulation triumph, which is inherent to its development. While understanding the current situation and the answer of the social movements, it is emphasized the articulation between these cycles and the linkage with the secular tendencies of capitalism, as the great determinant of the historic individuality that we are going through.
