Mediation of convergence in the hemispheric integration

Abstract

The possible configurations of Latin America and the Caribbean integration process are analize by the author. Regueiro assumes the hypothesis says the intralatinamerican process turn around between two principal axis: Mexico and MERCOSUR. She argues that the possible convergence or tension around both integration axis could be characterize the future regionalization at the area, regionalization un globalization, and the Latin America and the Caribbean insertion in world economy.
