Alternatives to neoliberalism in Latin America: an essay on what may be our future

Abstract

This paper explores the contemporary items of the world system, how Latin America is involved in its dynamics, emphasizing such issues as development and national sovereignty, focusing on the need to strengthen the way of making Politic, which would allow us restore the autonomy needed, besides it would help us to take advantage in constructing a real popular sovereignty. This article while criticizing the general understanding about politics, it intends to offer means to acquire power for the citizenry.
