An approach to the study of culture in Latin America

Abstract
The present article analyses culture and identity concepts. It begins from anglo culture studies and the development of symbolic anthropology to continue making a serious contribution about the contents of these concepts in Latin America, and to an interpretation of its culture. The main approach here are seeing and questioning around the central problem: the relationship between tradition and change.
