Abstract

This article is about the social accountability of the State with respect to families in Cuba. It take into consideration aspects of the political system and the State, as well as the role of society on family health and development issues. Moreover, it looks into some variables (principles, approaches, social actors) of social accountability of the State in the context of the Cuban family. And finally, this
article allows an analysis of the challenges facing society in the midst of a current family heterogeneity.
