Abstract

What vectors determine our relationship life? Chance, an outside will or the whims of luck? the whims of chance? Perhaps all of these and other factors that escape the pretended rigor of the the supposed rigor of the agendas. What is certain is that at the beginning of 1976, a good part of the South American left was facing an extreme choice. American left was faced with an extreme option: to leave the country of origin under the conditions and save their lives or face the advance of the repressive forces in clandestinity. the advance of the repressive forces. The political conditions in Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay and Brazil were horrifying. With nuances, the situation in Peru, under the mandate of General Morales Bermudez, showed a less degraded panorama but it began to decompose shortly after our arrival in Lima. In this way and in precarious conditions, a group of Argentine exiles settled in Peru. It did not seem so serious what we had decided; with a certain naivety and good spirit, we hoped that in a couple of years the Argentine dictatorship would collapse. What followed was a triumphant return to Buenos Aires in a four-hour flight. Not much, if you think of an era full of militant epics and maximalist horizons.
