Abstract

The objective of this research was to know the degree of belonging generated by the students of the different B@UNAM programs and to determine which are the factors that positively and negatively influence the construction of this sense of affiliation. A bibliographical review of the works that have investigated belonging in virtual education was carried out, later an instrument was selected that was adapted for the high school level and our specific program. Comparisons of means and factorial analysis of the instrument with the SPSS 22 program were analyzed. The results showed that the program has managed to generate a strong bond with the institution in the students, unlike other studies, no correlations were found with socioeconomic or academic aspects. . It can be concluded that the sense of belonging is a complex phenomenon that is related to different factors such as dynamism, social interaction, empathy, and the promotion of autonomous and collaborative learning.
