Abstract

Although educational internationalization is often perceived as a recent development, it has existed for centuries. In today's context of global interdependence, it is no longer an optional component or exclusive to elites. Global challenges require collaborative and transcultural approaches based on a global perspective, which also strengthens the capacity to respond effectively to local realities with diverse and shared knowledge. The video examines the role of teachers in internationalizing the curriculum through digital resources and innovative pedagogies, with a special emphasis on COIL (Collaborative, International, and Online Learning). In COIL, students engage in authentic international collaboration. COIL fosters intercultural competence, teamwork, creativity, and adaptability—skills highly valued in the job market. Thus, digital internationalization emerges as a fundamental dimension that prepares students for both global professional environments and multicultural societies.
