Lo diaspórico y lo transnacional: debates conceptuales del estado del arte

Resumen

El presente artículo propone una mirada diacrónica del concepto de diáspora, desde las primeras propuestas teóricas hasta los intelectuales contemporáneos; describe el devenir histórico del concepto y plantea el crecimiento en su uso, no sólo como respuesta a la lógica académica sino también al cambio en la acepción semántica. Asimismo, retoma el surgimiento de los estudios de diáspora, la llegada del transnacionalismo como perspectiva analítica y los cambios acaecidos en la percepción de las diásporas a la luz de los procesos de globalización y las políticas de los estados en tiempos de vida transnacional.
