Norma Pareja Sánchez, based on a careful reading of all the materials that make up number 31 of the Revista Mexicana de Opinión Pública, describes their characteristics and weighs the importance of each one of them.

Author Biography

Norma Pareja Sánchez, Universidad Autónoma de la Ciudad de México

She has a doctorate in political and social sciences, with an orientation in communication sciences, from the Facultad de Ciencias Políticas y Sociales of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (FCPyS-UNAM), Mexico City, Mexico; teacher in communication from the same institution; Diploma in cultural history and cultural studies from the Instituto José María Luis Mora, and a degree in communication and journalism from the Facultad de Estudios Superiores (FES) Aragón at UNAM. She is currently a full-time professor-researcher at the Universidad Autónoma de la Ciudad de México, at the Academia de Comunicación y Cultura, and a researcher in collaboration with the academic body “Comunicación Política, Ciudadanía y Transición a la democracia”, of the Instituto de Ciencias de Gobierno y Desarrollo Estratégico of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP). Her lines of research are communication and political culture, political communication and public opinion, democracy and communication, communication and poverty, television fiction, audiences and public television.
