Dependency and neoliberalism in Latin America and Mexico
Main Article Content
Abstract
The theory of development is generally inscribed under the conception of governmental or academic approaches of the developed countries, or from the perspective of the international organizations that essentially favor them. In this way, development is understood as the meeting of a set of elements and factors that are integrated around the ideal model of development, where the developing countries that come more fully to the requirements, goals and objectives proposed by those will have more chances to converge with the richer countries.
In this work the contributions of an alternative theory are recognized, which starts from the vision of the economic precepts of Latin American scholars. It is integrated by an introduction, a brief theoretical framework, the role of accumulation in developed and underdeveloped countries and the role of industrialization in these, multinational companies (EM) and financial capital, and concludes with the issue of dependency and neoliberalism
