Abstract

It has done a brief review of the transhumanist current, its historical context (Third and Fourth Industrial Revolutions), and the technological paradigms that support it. Finally, the main objectives of transhumanism (super longevity, superintelligence, and super welfare) are analyzed, the feasibility of implementing it in the medium term, and some of the risks to human freedom.

Yuri Posadas Velázquez, Colegio de Ciencias y Humanidades, UNAM

Físico egresado de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Docente del Colegio de Ciencias y Humanidades (CCH) plantel Oriente desde 1997. Profesor definitivo y de Carrera para Física I-IV desde 2001. Coautor de tres artículos publicados en revistas científicas y de divulgación. Autor de distintos libros para el bachillerato: Física I, Física II, Descubre la Física III, Asómate a los temas de Física y Emprende la Física II, publicados por Editorial Progreso. Ha presentado ocho trabajos ante el Comité de Pares del cch con arbitraje positivo.
