The proposal for this special issue of the Revista Acta Sociológica on migration and gender
migration and gender has the objective of discussing, integrating and disseminating the research
research carried out by various specialists on migration issues with a gender perspective
from feminism, women's studies, masculinities or the LGBT population. The migration issue is approached from different angles angles such as: health, migrant women workers, maternity,
gender economics and development, human rights, among others.
We hope that this volume will be the vehicle to build a space for debate on migration and gender
