Abstract
This work is based on the Psychological Model of Biological Health proposed by Ribes on 1990. It is part of a bigger research devoted to explore, from a naturalistic perspective, the phenomena called stress, such as its consequences on health. A preliminary study devoted to obtain the reliability of an instrument designed to evaluate competences on different contexts of performance is described here. This instrument has different parts, one of them is dedicated to get information about participants health, other to evaluate competences. On this part, items composed by distinct situations with profit criteria are included. Response choices are built to evaluate competences. On this part, items composed by distinct situations with profit criteria are included. Response choices are built to evaluate what participants do, what do they believe and how do they feel on these situations, especially, if they experience stress reactions. Results from 110 volunteers showed that the instrument is reliably. Additionally some health descriptive data from participants are presented. Dsicussion deals about the possible different uses of this tool.
