Comparaciones en las percepciones de futuro de los universitarios chilenos y catalanes

Abstract

The present article seeks to compare the guidelines for the future of undergraduate students from the Austral University of Chile and Autonoma University of Barcelona, Spain. Also, to verify whether there were gender differences and compare how they are influenced by technologic and labour changes in society network posed in building their prospects Future directions. The general objectives of the research are trying, in first place, determine the main factors shaping the prospects for the future direction that motivate students, and second place, to compare similarities and differences that exist from the gender factor. It was implemented as a research tool the "Future-orientation Questionnaire" (Nurmi, J-E y otros. 1990), to assess the future direction of the subject. From the theorical point of view the article makes a review of authors such as Hall (1989), Nuttin (1982), gurevitch (1979) and Estaún (1999).
