Contextualized Course Design and Authentic Assessment Strategies Directed towards the Academic Training Social Responsibility

Abstract
The university should direct all the academic, teaching, research, managing and PR departments towards a common goal, to train students to be future citizens that will contribute in the development of society.
In consequence, the virtual high school program of the Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa (Autonomous University of Sinaloa) adapts it courses for every edition, as a policy that complies with the pedagogical model of the institution. As a result, it has incorporated learning guidelines; included contextualize activities; adopted the authentic assessment model. The university looks forward to help students, so they can come up with short or long term solutions, to improve their environment.
