Experiencing Sustainability in my Context

Abstract

The concept of sustainable development refers —beyond its ambiguity and multiple definitions— to a concern about the state of the environment. Education has become one of the best means to develop knowledge and work in this area. In this paper we argue the importance of sustainability specifically through the development of an educational program in virtual mode, and the importance of developing skills in students from ecology and environmental education. This will allow favoring sustainable development and maintaining resources and preservation of nature from an immediate context, contributing greatly to global preservation of our natural environment.
