Resumen

Some of the seminal developments in the science of chemistry during the second half of 20th Century are described in the following pages. The resulting historical perspective is a selective distiliation. The facts were chosen because they, in some way, changed the direction or conceptions in chemistry. These developments cover a broad perspective, including material science, biological, energy and environmental chemistry.
